RE: Muskies, Inc. National Board Meeting Weekend

Dear Chapter #52 Membership:

The Muskies, Inc. National Board Meeting weekend we put on a good show and the weekend was a success. This was a chapter effort and could not have been pulled off like it was without all the help from our members who donated their time and efforts.

Thanks to all who brought their boats and graciously guided our board members from around the nation. We had 38 people who registered to fish. Dana Smith from Seneca, Ill., fished with Mike Tackett and they boated 4 fish, came in 1st with a 39 3/4" and a 35 1/4", total 23 points. Mark Fangman of Morehead and our Chapter 52 came in 2nd with a 45 1/2" and 20 points. Scott Smalley of Maysville and also our Chapter 52 came in 3rd with a 45" and 19 points. We used the Muskie Inc scoring system of 4pts. for a 30" fish and 1 additional point for every inch over 30", and rounding up to the next inch with a measurement of a 1/2" or more.

Thanks to Scott Salchli, Cave Run Guide Service and Mike Tackett of Cave Run Pro Shop and Guide Service for their generosity and continued support of our chapter helping us with our outing prizes of a BullDawg Rod and Ambassadeurr Reel. What a great weekend.
